SO my abs light is always on while driving and the air bag light is always blinking now. it just started after I put a new tranny in and a new battery. any one have a clue why?

 

Two unrelated issues.

You have a problem with the ABS system - e.g. a bad sensor at one of the wheels

The SRS computer has detected a problem with the airbags themselves or one of the associated sensors. There are instructions on resetting the airbag light in the stickies.

More likely your alternator is failing. Both systems are detecting a voltage fault.

 

i had some kind of a problem like this too.. the abs lights use to turn on and the air bag light suddenly the car started shaking.. i thought it was the battery problem so i replaced the old batter and put the new battery it started out nice n worked for few hours.. then it seem to do the samethin again ... then i realized it was the alternator that had to be replaced.

My ABS light is also on all of the time, I'm going to look into it more, but could any problems arise if say the ABS isnt working properly at one wheel but is at the other 3? Could you get one wheel lock up or something strange like that?
