tonight i ran the self diagnostic cause i was curious to see if it had any codes. the test went fine however the code is undefined i was hoping someone could shed some light on this. I watched the sequence 6 times to be sure. i got 3 long pulses then 15 short pulses then a long pause. then it repeated again 3 long 15 short long pause. i watched it do this 6 times yet there is no defined code for it. should i just now worry about it ? or am i decifering it wrong.....

 

Cali spec car I assume?

P0160 = 0315 = Rear O2 Sensor High Input (Bank 2)

wow calm down a bit i appreciate the help but the sarcasm probably wasnt needed. yes i have search but i was looking for the wrong thing i guess i found the codes in the faq but there was no 0315 so i figured id ask next time get the facts b4 ya chop my head off

np...3 years later and im still gettin my ***** busted, LOL...so the Rear O2 Sensor High Input (Bank 2) im assuming that its the second o2 downstream from the header ? bank 2 is the closest as you open the hood right ? so the rear bank 2 would be the second one down stream. id be pi$$ed if i changed the wrong one.....

 

I can never get the cali-spec sensors straight ....

 

im on my second calispec and i still dont know em all.....

 

any one with cali spec experience know which one that is ?

 

just for general info the 0315 code for cali spec cars means bank 2 sensor 2 which is the second sensor back from the manifold. there is one in the manifold itself and next one down is the winner....and the code stands for

P0160 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
