roof antenna

What's up everyone? I'm looking to shave the antenna next to the trunk and put an audi antenna (fin shaped one) up on the roof. Anybody know how to do this? I need to know how to get the wires up there, if i have to drill, and if i have to have the car repainted to shave the antenna in the back. Please let me know anything you. Thanks alot!

1. Yes, you'll have to paint.

2. You run the wires up through the headliner. Since there is no hole right now for the antenna on the roof, you msot likely will need to drill a hole up there (more than one most likely).

for my sirius satallite antenna I ran the wire under the rubber strip around the back window and up to the antenna. My antenna has the wire running out the back of it, it also depends on where the audi antenna has the wire running.

If this is similar, it looks like you can run the wire under the window trim
