Is it worth the price? I really like the black on black.

I wouldn't drop $10k on it before going out to see it. Does it look nice? Certainly. Does that make it $10k material? Probably not. Go check for yourself though. Mine was $5k at 150k miles, perfect condition.

That is a really nice, rare car. If you are looking for a fully loaded stick, it is near impossible. "On paper" that car looks great. But personally I am too nervous of the whole e-bay thing when it comes to large purchases like this.

The price is high. Just wait and look around. You'll find one with similar miles and all the options for $7k or less.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I challenge you to find a '98 or a '99 fully loaded 4th gen. SE stick shift, 90k miles or less, black leather interior, ABS (extremely rare), heated seats (very rare), good condition (we're assuming this one is in good condition), Bose, electronic climate control, power seats, etc., etc.

It took me 8 months to find my '99 (and it's an auto!).

^^^I agree...this is a great price...besides from being on ebay, it looks like a really nice car. If you were to buy a stock maxima with the same options for $7k, then buy the stillen kit, wheels, drop, monitor, etc (what most people do around here anyways) and have everything installed your lookin at another 4k. Seems like a decent price to me for a lower mileage, rare combo car (best color too). Let us know what you decide

yeah he is an org member, I saw it earlier this year when he was selling it to the orgers. Call him up and say you are from the org and maybe he can give a discount or something of it.

Why can't you buy a car off eBay??? I've bought 2 cars (1 local and 1 far away) and sold 1 on eBay...never any problems. Its all about communication.

i bought my car on ebay... which had several hundred dollars in **** that needed fixing as soon as i got, plus i replaced the tranny within a year, plus a wacky alarm system that does all kinds of strange things...

the thing about ebay is that you can get cars there for a good $1-2k less than you can most other places, which is good because in a lot of cases you'll have to put that cash right back into the car. this one is owned by an org member i think, so there are less likely to be the big problems i mentioned. $10k is a lot for a 4th gen, but this one looks really clean, and the black/black/5spd combo is hard to find (i would know ;-) ), so i wouldn't rule it out. in the end, you have to decide if the mods are worth the extra cash. if you don't think so, keep looking.

FYI, I've gotten auctions cancelled because of this.
