What type of grease can i use...

My doors are getting stiff and i need to regrease them...any suggestions on what type of grease i should use? You almost have to slam the door to shut it...
This might not be the right area to post this but oh well.

Which ones are stiff... front or rear?

If I recall there is some tension bar in the rear doors that gets screwed up and causes them to get stiff. Mine used to be extremely stiff, then one day I closed my rear passenger side door and there was this horrible snapping sound that sounded like a hinge breaking, or something to that affect.

But, everything visible was fine... and amazingly the door swung open/closed like a dream. It's been fine ever since.

Go figure.

agreed. in the solid form, squeeze tube. just wipe some on the bar and open and shut the door a few times to work it in. should solve the problems.

Sounds dumb but I use Vaseline because it is clean and thick. wont leave nasty grease stains in your door jam. and most people have this at home.

Dont use vaseline. It's water based. It will cause your car to rust.

I'm sure you have it at home too...

Just kidding
