Ok so i am visiting some of my buddies at Penn State, and we went to pick up a keg... now when i try to close my trunk it won't lock down! It goes all the way down like if i hold it there it looks closed like the trunk is flush with the rest of the body. Does anyone know what might be wrong? the locking mechanisms seem to be working correctly but the ****er just won't close. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Keg rolled into the rear body pannel knocking it out of place. Now your latch doesn't line up correctly. Take the rear trim pannel off and see how far and which way it's out of alignment.

 

what do i do when i find it is out of alignment?

 

get in the trunk(make sure someone "trust worthy" is there to let you out) and you can loosen the bolt on the latch (in the trunk) and ajust it until it works then retighten the bolts and get out.

 

Just carry your key if you got a security alarm and if they dont let you out press the button
