What is done in a tranny service and can I do this myself??

 

probably just a drain and refill with a filter change. You can do this yourself.

 

They do a flush, you cant do that yourself they hook it up to a machine and clean everything, my mechanic said even changing the fluid you dont get but like half of the fluid out. So I would pay to have them flush you tranny.

 

Trans flushes are 50/50 on the pro's and con's. If it was me I would just drain and refill.
