???'s about Springs and Struts ???'s Help please

I just purchased a set of ground control springs (adjustable ones)

I got them because my rear section of the car slags downward.....

I have 110,000 miles on the car and I am wondering if I could just put the new springs on the car, or if I should really have to buy new struts too....

ii think by putting the new springs on it will help out with handling, but what I really dont want is to put on the springs and then realize that by rear struts are shoot as welll.........is it possible that my rear struts are needing replacement as well, or do they last longer?

please advise on any suggestions........

thanks,
david

BUY NEW STRUTS! The coilovers you have will destroy the stock springs in no time, it will ride like crap and be very bouncy since the springs are to stiff for the stock struts.

^^^ good call North! the stock springs, which it sounds like are on their last leg, cannot control the much stiffer and reduced travel springs. they will most likely blow in no time and you will just end up driving with worse handling than before and you will need to do the install all over again, this time replacing the struts and shocks. just do it all right the first time and you will be set.

i didn't mean it in an offensive manner. it's just that, kinda like what you said, a lot of people will just say the first thing that comes to minda and talk out of their @ss. but no, i agree with you. what he said was definitely helpful, especially for a noob. i can see how it could have been taken the wrong way. i'll edit.

ok ok i sound like a broken record but get some shorter konis in the front. then pick any adjustable strut for the rear along with some sort of upper mount .
