Hard time starting....

Hard time starting....

Been couple days i am having hard time starting the car...
it cranks cranks but does not turn on....
I don' think it's the starter coz it cranks and plus i just changed it about 6 months ago...
checked my battery voltges and its givin out 12.1v
2 weeks ago replaced 6 fuel injectors, and platinum ngk plugs...

what could it be??
any ideas???

Cam position sensor, 1 or both crank position sensors. Maybe fuel starvation=fuel pump or clogged filter but not likely.
You did check for codes right?
Dig out your Haynes or FSM and browse a bit.

i kinda had a similar problem last week. I thought it was my battery so i took to autozone to test out the battery. They tested out all the volts and the amps to be within normal range. But when they tried to recharge my battery, it failed 3 times. Bought a new battery, and ever since car starts everytime.

Ask autozone people to see if they could successfully recharge your battery. If not its prob just batt problem... (worke for me : )

if it was cam pos sensor the CEL should turn on....they are not ghost codes..
i haven't checked for codes yet..
could it be the ignition switch???

ooo and i have new fuel filter so i don't think the filter is clogged...
maybe fuel pump??
i don't know......its frustratin a bit

Has the car sat at all? Moisture in your fuel or lines maybe?

Otherwise I would have the battery checked, but for amperage, rather than voltage.
