A 4-door Skyline WTF...

Alright so I know I'm not the most adept guy on the planet but please explain this to me. because to me it appears as if a 4th Gen. could be converted to look exactly like this car without any really crazy mods, minus a few things of course.

i dont know what your talking about. but 4 door skylines are real. There aren't too many of them really but they are all over places that have skylines. And no way in hell you going to make a 4th gen look like that because that cost of doing a conversion is about the cost of importing on here problay or aleast 1/2 the cost.

Something a little easier to make look like a skyline are the 99 accord coupes.

crazy. no my friends dad is a conversion/ body guy and he said he could do a conversion for about 5 grand lol. so I dont know wtf you're talking about. plus I said "minus a few things" meaning it wont be completely exact in angles and scales. I'd never do it but its a cool idea.

I seen many four door skylines. Ofcourse I been to japan every summer so I can say that. What is really rare to see is the actual GT-R out where I go, but I do see plenty of four door. Most four door skyline comes with a RB25 Engine unlike the famous RB26DETT twinturbocharger that we hear about. But it is not joke about four doors. Next time make sure you dont' post here, post in the other forums place http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=77

on a side note yea I would've posted in the other section but I thought it related to 4th Gens in a sense of conversion or utility.

When I lived in Asia I used to get this German annual magazine called "Autokatalog".
It had every car and every option available, to anyone in every country.
I can't seem to find a copy here in the States though.
It is *amazing* how little of the world's cars and options are available to us. If memory serves, we get something like a quarter of what's out there.
:-(

That would not be cool in any way shape or form. It would be like the Honda Accord-Ferrari conversion pic I have seen.

i priced everything out for a 4th gen skyline body conversion and its about 8 grand to have it done professionaly but its still gonna be a maxima. to put the rb26dett in a max is almost impossable.
