Auto locking diff

Is there any advantage to the I30 auto with a locking diff as opposed to my non locking maxima? Does it help acceleration at all? I'm just asking because those are alot easier to find then the locking manuals. So my question is are the locking differential auto transmissions better then the non locking auto transmissions

Yes - especially on the strip. I have a '99 Infiniti VLSD tranny in my '99 Max, and there was a LOT of difference on launch.
