Don't put it under the seat, pain in the @$$ to change the CD when you have to, plus on those rainy days and you have to give someone a ride home, guess where the feet are. I'm some how going to power my AUX thing to be louder on my bose and connect a laptop to it.
hmmm. yea im considering puttin it in the glove box.. my GF said the same thing...
the only thing is that i use the glvoe box.. and well tech water wont get on teh unit under the seat.. and it wont be siggin ont eh floor it woul dbe mounted to the bottome pan on teh seat similar to that of the qx4 ... thus when the seat is moved forward or backward the unit would move along with it...

Well I have a dvd player under my seat, its very slim and it is a really tight fit. Theres not really that much room to not have to worry about people kicking it, it will get kicked. Move the stuff from the glove box to the door pockets and armrest

the whole thing is that the changer would be my only cd unit.. and if i need to swap out a cd at a point i dont want to have to go to my trunk hence why trunk idea got smacked from the get.
the glove i dea is good.. i mean only thing is that i use glove.. and i hate putting things in teh door pannel it bothers me cause things move aroudn and such within it.. when ur in stop and go traffic...
imma pop it in tehre and see how it works out... in teh glove
There's a hump under the seat that stops the cd changer from going far enough underneath it. It has to stay a certain distance from the back of the bump to fit the wires, at which point your far enough that the changer will get kicked. It is also a pain in the *** to change cd's etc.
yea i know what bump you speak of. where the ... .pardon the description.. but where the *** would go on the seat.. the thing is im gonna be puttin it before the bar that goes from left ot right under the seat mounted to bottom of seat so it moves with the seat.. wouldnt get kicked from back... cause it moves up with seat.. and from front.. i mean its pretyt hard for anyone to kick.. i mean my girl is a shotgun-hog anyway.. so noone else besides her sits there and ill jsut tell her to not put hte legs rite by the seat
also the depth of the unit looking at it from the slide door is quite small.. the changer is a rsmall unit
