another ks question......i'm sorry

hey guys, just tried a quick search and did not come up with any results. I just replaced my ks and I definitely feel a difference. I had this strange hesitation in acceleration that is now gone however I don't notice any performance gains under 3k like I was told I may feel. I scanned my ecu and came up with no codes so I am happy to see it fixed; however, will it take my ecu time to adjust the advanced timing now that there is a good ks in there or should it feel better automagically?

the battery was unplugged for about a half an hour, will that reset the ecu or do I need to do it some other way?

The 1st time I replaced my KS it was like night and day. The 2nd time it was like dusk and dawn...not much difference.

I guess to clarify my question I will say this. I did not expect huge gains from changing the ks but I thought that I may feel a difference in performance. My ks has been bad since I bought the car 6 months ago so I have never driven my max, or any max for that matter, that did not have a ks bad. Yes I drive an auto and am aware that they are not quite as quick as 5spd but haveing never driven any other max I dont know what to feel. From a dead stop if I hit the gas WOT the car seems to accelerate about 75%, then seems to drop down to about 50% from around 1700 to 2700, then picks up again quickly. Maybe this is just how an auto accelerates, maybe it isn't. At the same time I did not buy my max to be a performance machine so I'm just happy that I have smooth acceleration under normal driving between all gears. I just figured I'd see if my results were typical or not. And nobody has yet to answer my question about the ecu adjusting. Also, just so you have all of the information I have an injen intake which was installed by previous owner which I plan on replacing so don't turn this thread into "take off the injen, it's worthless." and a warpspeed y-pipe as well.

I replaced mine not to long ago as well and i have a question, i get po325 and its the code for the harness or it means u need a new ks... well since i just replaced my ks im confused as to what it could be, i found this relay or something comeing off the wire that connects to ks and harness it looks like a relay or something anyone lknow whatt that is and could it be makeing a difference? He also mentioned that he had a weird hesitation when he takes off i get that to and replaceing my ks has helped but hasnt cured it i still have a cel for a multiple miss fire code and im trying to figure out what it could be, ive checked plugs put new ks and o2 sensors coil packs look fine could it be an injector or maybe my timeing is retarded or something due to the ks not working right?
