Rattles!!

How can i get rid of the f***ing rattles...they drive me crazy.

I even started developing rattles that sound like they are coming from the underbody instead of the interior....sounds like a plastic piece is loose an is hitting something else while i drive and it's pretty loud, also the passenger seat rattles (or squeaks) if no one is in it...etc

Subframe connectors. They'll help the handling a ton, too. Check the autocross forum, there's a 5 page thread about it.

weld **** to your subframe. itll stiffen the car up. rattling noise might be your sway bar endlink. mine is shot and the sway bar slides around on it. Otherwise, play some hard hitting bass, climb around and listen for rattles, remove anything you feel comfortable removing, and dynamat (or equivalent) the rest.

108,000 miles and 6 years later and I have absolutely no rattles or squeaks inside my car.
It's a pretty quiet ride...

I've done all i can to get rid of my rattles. No covers on the door lights, superglued that styrofoam padding inside door panels so it would sit still, going to dynamat (equivalent) sometime this summer.... Im keeping this car running and worth running forever.

check your hood. believe it or not i had a big rattle that started a while back. i took it to my mechanic and he could nt find anything. so one day i was looking at my car and thought let me check the hood. so i rattled it and when i told my wife to rattle it while i was in the car it made the same noise. wow what satisfaction.
