makeshift stillen front lip

I remeber reading a post about how to make a makeshift stillen front lip. I just checked the 4th gen faq and 4th gen modificatinos faq and i couldn't find any links. I was wondering if anyone knew how to do it. I need a new prj for shop class and i figured this would be a cool and cheap prj. Thanx

Go to Home Depot and get the floor moulding that goes at the bottom of the walls in your school, right near the floor. Use double sided tape and small screws to hold it on the bumper. This is called the LUDALIP.

Check out CTMAXIMAS.ORG. There is a meet in NYC comming up!

It looks cheap, but adds a dimension to the car from far away.

some like it some dont. If dont have the money for a stillen or ionic lip and like the look, you'll save a lot of money. If no save up and get a lip and/or check the classifieds if someone is selling theirs.

all you would do is glue/screw a piece of plastic flooring wainscoting (stuff where floor meets wall surround.

IMO...not to classy or good looking, much less for a project. If your gona get a lip, do it right, either stillen or Ionic Dynamics.

The reason to put the LUDALIP on is to let the "lowered folk" like me practice before we actually ruin a Stillen lip.

if anyone does it, please paint it body color.

I'd suggest saving up for a lip ionic still has a great deal on front lips going on.

Does this lip extend down enough to mimic a stillen or ionic lip? I think it sits too close to the bumper.

If you feel it helps you thats cool. But driving with it on for a couple of days should be enough. Its really not that hard to drive with a lip on. You just have to know your car and remember that its there.
