New headlights

I want to get new headlights and I'm considering these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...QitemZ80381030 72QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

However, my concern is that i want brighter headlights also, 9004 is not cutting it. Since there is the wrong kind of reflector inside, I def won't be able to get away with putting in HIDs and aiming downward. I'm not going to spend the money to put in projectors. What are my options? Is it possible to put an H4 bulb or something inside?

Do you think these headlights with a 9007 conversion is worth it/any good? What am i better off doing getting these headlights w/ the 9007 or cefiros on ebay?

What you're putting HIDs in makes little difference, since all of the things you're asking about are meant for halogen.

Ok...whats the best housing to get: stock with AE mod, the one pictured above, or smoked cefiro's. Are the cefiro's on ebay good?

that was a lot of things said in a little paragraph. Well i went from stock OEM ~> Eurolites 80w/100w 9004's ~> 9004 HID kit ~> 9004 Silverstars.

Eurolites looked nice over the OEM but didn't do much in terms of more light on the ground. The HID kit was great!!!! in terms of light on the ground. but it was also great in terms of light in other ppl's eye, mainly the cops. I got pulled over 5 times with the kit on for 2 weeks. Even if i layed it down to the ground. So i went with the silverstars. They looked a lot better compared to OEM's and the Eurolites. I should of gotten the 9007 conversion. But with everyone saying how short of a life span silverstars have i shouldn't have to wait too long.

9007 housing are diffrent from 9004's, it might create a glare of some sort. but nothing compared to HID's. ITs a easy no brainer mod that you can convert back if you dont like it.

If you stick with halogen, the Cefiros would be your best bet for light output. H4 is very easy to use with HID kits, as well, because as far as I know all H4 kits are bi-xenon, which means you wouldn't lose your high beams or need to pay extra for additional equipment to keep the highs.

Try out the stock bulbs in the housing first, they may be better than you think, then go from there.

9007 conversion with xtravisions is cheap, easy, and makes a considerable difference in light output. Reaim your headlights afterwards and you won't blind anybody.

If you want to go HID, then I'd say go with OEM 1 piece cefiros (yeah, the all chrome ones, make SURE they're OEM as knockoffs will have a $hitty beam pattern) as they give out a crisp beam pattern with a sharp cutoff. Then get a 4300k bixenon kit. It obviously won't beat projectors, but it's quite impressive: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=343055

i need new headlights, the stock ones are too dim for me and now one of my bulbs is out (low beam driver's side). i'm not electrically inclined and not very mechanically inclined (have some knowledge but no experience and no tools, working on that soon). what's the best option for me and my terrible stock headlights?

Well, I wanted the smoked ones. Would the output be better than stock with smoked cefiros and h4 bulbs?

Slightly...maybe? I would see it as being very hard to make H4 look worse than 9004, even in those housings. Buy the OEM ones and smoke them yourself.

if you want to put hid in them go for, who cares what anyone says.....just do what you want....if you bring up anything about hid's without a projector you are going to get 1000 people, some probely not even knowing what they are telling you that you will kill people, and the world will end, because that is what one person said, and so everyone followed the movement......those without hid kits would take one in a heart beat and instal it if it was given to them......blah blah blah
