stillen front lip...
You should sand it w/ some steel wool or something along those lines so it is not shiny at all anymore. When i painted mine, i used paint made by PPG for Urethane that is supposed to bond better and flex, not crack, when the piece flexes. This doesnt solve bottoming out (which i do only occasionally w/ sprints on their), but i dont have any visibly chips or scratches from anything on mine.

This is the proper way to paint your lip as told to me by stillen rep:
1: clean with polyurethane cleaning agent(2 times)
2: sand it down
3: prime it
4: sand it down again
5: paint and make sure to add flex agent in the paint which will prevent craking or peeling
If you do it this exact way you shouldn't have many problems. info@stillen.com for more info
