antenna issue

My antenna does not extended all the way down after power off. Is there a way for me to pull down the antenna cable if i open up my antenna motor??

You could probably use a new antenna mast, or clean of some of the dirt from the old one. I had the same problem in the cold before, where it would not go down all the way. Eventually, it just broke.

You could push it in a few times as well.

It is more than likely bent and you need a new mast.

This sounds right, and if the cable does break due to the additional stress on it, you will have to remove the trunk interior, to get to and remove the antenna motor, and open up the case to retrieve the broken part of the cable. Otherwise the new antenna will not go down all the way because the broken cable blocks it. Been there, done that, it sucked.
