Using 2 walbro fuel pumps- intank- in line

Does anyone know if using (2) 255 walbro fuel pumps like title says will work??
Will it give any insurance against a lean condition under hard throttle with SC and N2O??

It should work. Pumps are not as good "pulling" as "pushing" but it would probably add extra insurance. I have not had any experience with this, though. Maybe someone with some fluids dynamics knowledge could talk more about the pressures.

Obviously if the injectors/pulses are insufficient it won't help....

Yeah, I read some posts on other sites and like usual they're a mixed bag!

One said he had no problem with both working. He also said he can't figure out how gas goes thru the inline pump if it wasn't on because he couldn't blow air thru it. But it still passed thru.

Someone else said he had to use a by-pass to get around the inline pump if it failed. Go figure!

Ive only heard of guys using the Wablro intank and a Vortech in-line. Just incase the Wablro goes out, you can still get home on the In-line. If the walbro intank goes out, and you dont have the inline, your stuck.

Ive never heard of guys using more than one, at any given point. Thats alot of fuel

Yeah but don't forget in a recirculating system unused fuel goes back to the tank, frank!!

Unless you are using dry nitrous and an FMU (not a very smart thing to do) I can't imagine two fuel pumps would be necessary unless you are getting close to 600whp.

The Stillen kit has the inline pump working only when boosting (via the Hobbs switch) so I believe all inlines are "pass through". I believe as long as the FPR (definitely need aftermarket) can handle the "extra" flow and return it to the tank it should be fine.
