Technosquare auto ecu programming to 5spd?

Is it possible to take the daughterboard from an upgraded automatic ECU and connect it to a 5spd? Has anyone tried this?

Um haha. What you need to to is take the 5-sp ecu out and compare it to the auto ecu. If the pinouts are the same, then you are good to go.

My car was an automatic but it was converted to 5spd in July. I've been running it with the auto ECU but now that I found a 5spd CA-spec, I want to us it to get rid of the CEL. While it was an auto, I had the ECU upgraded by TS. I'd like to take that daughterboard and stick it in the 5spd.

It's funny that you posted in this thread as the ECU I bought was yours from someone else. The seller said you had verified with JWT that this ECU was a CA spec 5spd.

I've sent TS an email to see if it's possible.

I never sold anyone a ECU other than to I30ds? Was it him that you bought the ECU from?
