Bose Speakers

Bose Speakers

hey everyone,

was just driving home, and my speakers cut out....deck still has power...just no sound coming throuhg my speakers...

is there a fuse for the bose speakers? if so which on is it?

yes there is; middle row, i think the 4th fuse down from the top. there are two fuses, one labeled bose, and one labeled audio, both 15amp. check the "Audio" one. But if your fuse randomly blew, it's possible that something has gone bad on one of your amps, and after replacing the fuse, it might blow again. If the fuse blows again, start disconnecting the amps until you find the faulty one.

thanks a bunch, the audio fuse was blown, replaced it..and works fine now...hopefully it won't blow again, but if it does i know what to do now, thanks a lot!

There is one fuse under the hood too for audio. keep that in mind.

sometimes the harness gets loose if fuses are good check harness

Sometimes the bose speakers themselves just die.

Since it's both rears, check connections. If it's just one corner, check connections, and if that doesn't fix it, swap the left with the right one.

I killed my rear pose speakers twice. Ended up being the circuit board (I guess they are the amped speakers). YOu can see one of the pieces blown. Just replaced it and works fine.

I hate how the bose speakers hang so low in the trunk.
