hey what's up guys... Well I'm converting my 98SE autotragic to 5spd and am using the 2K1 tranny... my question is... since I gotta use the 4th gen speed sensor to make this work.. can i just reuse the speed sensor off my autotragic right now... or does the speed sensor have to come from a 4th gen 5spd?

The 01 speed sensor is different?

Anyways, im using the auto speed sensor in my 5spd right now, its inaccurate by some but it works for NOW...

I plan on getting the 5spd sensor anyways, its onyl like $30.

 

yeah supposedly it is...the 5th Gen speed sensor doesn't seem to agree with the 4th gen speedometer and it doesn't work.

since it's just $30 for a speed sensor..might as well just pick up a 4th gen 5spd one from my dealership
