What is this part called?

I don't have a pic of this yet, but here is a description and sort of a pic of what im talking about.

It is underneath the bumper reinforcement (the silver piece). I can't think of a better way to explain it. But if you have a 95-96 you can see it through the slot on the bottom of the bumper. It seems to be just a support piece that may bolt on, but I'm not sure. I have a hole in mine and want to replace it but have no clue what it is called. I'll put a real pic of it tomorrow or tonight.

The peice that is circled in red does not need replacement at all. It should be like that with a hole on the top. Its for the bumper to fit on top of that thing and a small plastic things plots in there.

Your post has me completely confused. You take a picture of something and circle it in bright red, but then you say that what you just circled is NOT the part you are asking about, and that the part you are asking about isn't even in the picture. Why even include the picture then, all it does is confuse things, at least for me. I've got an idea, take a pic of the actual part you are talking about, not something that kindof looks like what you are talking about but not really, and get back to us.

I agree you need a real pic of it first for any real diagnosis.

Radiator support? where the crossmember meets it, common rust problem I think that is what your talking about. Also the hood hinge bolts to it right above crossmember. If its that like $75 brand new on fleabay, hope I didn't tell you stuff you knew, waiting for better pics.

You should have started the thread when you had a proper picture. Its just frustrating to try and guess at something we cant see.
