Need help with custom side markers!

I posted a thread before about installing side marker lights...but I can't find it. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough but I need to know something:

My plan of attack is to run one of the wires for the side marker to any ground screw (ground wire of course), and the other wire to the front blinkers. First, I need to know which wire on the front blinker is the correct one to tap into for the side marker? Secondly, if I splice right into the front blinker wire, do I need a stronger fuse or anything? (if so which fuse would it be?)

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!

I have an LED sidemarker, and I didn't need a stronger fuse or anything. I just tapped into the front blinkers and if it didn't turn on I just switched the cords around and yeah that is about it. Good luck and have fun with it. EASY task

ok sounds good. any chance you remember which wire it was? Or am I not gonna blow anything by just touching the marker light wire to each blinker wire?

Just make sure you don't short the wire. Just connect them and test it. If it doesn't go on, switch the wire and test it again.

JUST DON'T SHORT IT

Thats what I'm afraid of. I think i have a voltmeter somewhere in the garage. What should the reading be for the right wire?
