Knock Sensor Question

Is there a difference in what brand KS I buy? I am getting the code and just wondered if it is worth the extra bucks to get one from the dealership.

Thanks!

Frank

Don't go to the dealer, they'll charge you somewhere around 160.

Ebay 10chars. I bought a genuine nissan knock sensor for $68 about 6 months ago, and haven't had a problem with it since.

paid 80bucks at autozone... and $60 shipped same day from oxygensensors.com out of atlanta.... No problems with either however the cheaper one is an offbrand i think. The website listed is the cheapeast i could find including ebay.

I paid like 130 for one from autozone because I already was doing the 00VI swap and I figured I might as well do it while I had easy access to the KS with the upper and lower manifolds off. Should have thought ahead an bought one off the internet...oh well, you live and you learn...
