muffler question?

muffler question?

If I got a muffler from a g35 or another infiniti or 350z can I just weld it on.will I get the sound just like those cars or no??not looking for performance just the sound.

yea you could just weld it on, you could weld just about anything on.
sound, most likely not, you have a different motor and all the rest of the exhaust piping is different

what makes you think you would get the same sound as a 350Z or G35? and it would require modifcation to make it fit.

not the same exact sound but similar. I guess I seen it in a 5th gen and got mixed up.

your best bet would to be to find a altima SE-R exhaust.

The sound from the exhaust comes from how the engine runs. Air flow into the engine and out the engine is the meain reason for that certain exhaust sounds. Plus they have a bigger engine then we do.

I cut my exhaust off from the middle if my X pipe. I would recommend you to cut yours wither at your Z pipe or R pipe...it would probably sound close to a 350Z.
