Radiator Replacement

My car overheated and now the radiator is cracked. Does anyone now the cost of a new one and is it difficult to replace yourself?

I don't know about the cost, but the job should be pretty easy. Remove the two hoses (might as well replace them), unplug the wiring harness to the fans, and remove the two nuts holding the brackets on the top of the radiator. Takes longer to write about it than to do it.

What caused your engine to overheat? Has that been fixed yet?

Modern lightweight aluminum engines are less tolerant of overheating than the old heavy
cast iron engines. Even one episode of overheating may lead to a head gasket problem. After you install that new radiator watch your temperature gauge and engine coolant level carefully.

My thermostat was sticking for a while and me being lazy didnt change it. The radiator is crack on the plastic part.
So now i got to get a new one. Has anyone order from radiator.com? How are they radiators?
