if that's your car in your sig, then I would say no. One of the best looking 4th gens I've ever seen. But I still would have painted it the same color of your car.

weight savings my young apprentice....weight....and hoods u can get away with not painting because its pretty common....but mis matched fenders makes it look like junkyard parts put togehter awaiting paint...unless of course u have a black car

Weave looks nice, and the cutout is a lot nicer then the Z3 style, but your right, fitment looks way off. Big gaps and it doesnt seem to line up with the bottom of the bumper.

Are these wrapped? If so, then why are they so off?

Would FRP wrapped in CF hold up better?

Not really, the FRP is deigned to flex, the resin thats used to apply the CF is not. Flexing of the FRP would crack the top surface of CF.

yeah there is not much give to them with out cracking, looks to me like the mold was off some or they warped coming out of the mold. I like them just wished they had fit so I can get my car back together. plus Im going to have to modifiy the inner plastic of the wheel well.

This thread is making me laugh...everyone just listen to Flava 24/7 45% of his car is carbon fiber and it looks badass. The fenders look nice, but the contrast from them and your door panel as well as the front bumper could look a little off, but no one will really know until we see it in a better shot. Even then, if its what you want to do then who cares what other people say on here. They are just trying to ***** the thread up and get some posts under their belt.

Edit: Found these on Ebay, sorry if someone already posted. They look like the same ones..

There made by Carbon EFX, the ones I have seen in person from them have looked really nice. Dubbya and DirtySoufmax have them.
I will be ordering one soon from Redline to replace my current one.

Most likely the mold warped. It s pretty common depending on how many sets were made from that mold.
Some Co. only use a mold so many before going to a new mold to avoid warped products.

The CF trunk is close if not under 20lbs. Quite a bit lighter then the oem.
Without a spolier, my trunk would literally fly open when i opened it.
Adding a spoiler or removing the torsion bars would eliminate that.

I would paint those body color. If you leave them unpainted, your car will look like a patch job from far. That is just my opinion though.

So now you have a CF hood and front fenders...and the rest of your car is white. Why don't you just CF your whole car? I still think it's 100% rice. And that aluminum weave looks cheezy.

Thats not a weave dumb@ss, thats wire mesh. Mesh and weave are two different things, not to mention two different looks as well.
