bumper dent (56 warning...)

alright fellas, I need ur help on this one... I haven't had the chance to take off my bumper to actually see whats wrong with it due to the weather up here... so I took some pics so hopefully u guys can assess whats wrong with it... I've been checking it out with a friend and he thinks that maybe I'm missing a heat shield, tell me what u guys think... and judging from this dent, do u guys think I need to get a new bumper? thanks

you'll have to realign the bumper, something like that happened to me, i walked outside and saw my car was dented (headlight was dented in), and it didnt align properly to the bumper or hood..i used a few washers at home to align it properly. It's a little ghetto, but it works, and you can't tell the difference. You might want to take off the bumper to see if any supports are damaged. if they are, try and bend them back into place, and if all ele fails, use washers.

The machine in your basement that cleans your clothes. Used in combination with a dryer.

this sort of happened to me as well after i banged into some hard snow on the street. looks like someone just bent the whole thing down and in, exposing maybe a centimeter more panel gap than normal

you have more than just a bumper dent. your car has been in a wreck. NONE of you body lines are straight, so have fun fixing that. especially after that washer comment.

seems like you have been in an accident of some sort. You might have some rebending to do to the front end. Good luck with it.

And for the washer ****, that is just messed up.

ya the previous owner got into an accident with the car, the whole bumper is fine, the whole thing is aligned its just that part thats dented downwards... u can't really tell from afar but its painfully obvious up close... I'll take a pic tomorrow and show u guys... but if its just a bumper realignment I'm sure I can get that done this weekend when I go to this guy that has a car lift...

LOL. Wow, I can't believe he just asked what a washer is. If you saw one, what else could you possibly call it?

I obviously know what a washer is... I just thought there was some sort of tool called a "washer" that u fix a car with... considering I don't know a lot about cars and the tools used to fix them, I'm kind of Oblivious to these things...
