there is huge gaps......lower before you put wheels, it looks goofy, i had wheels before a drop and i hated it. Without drop it looks like a 4x4. And if you go with a moderate drop, you will not be scraping at all, unless you get a kit.

I lowered my car 2 weeks after I put my rims on, it was a painfull two weeks. Got 18" rims, and ended up lowering the car with Eibachs and tokicos. Carefull, subs in the trunk make the lower look stupid..... Im my opinioin, the eibachs could be a little lower....

Your rims look a lot of mine...but in much better condition lol...

I think they would look great with a drop...i just need the lip polished and have them powdercoated. They are pretty old...

17" MOTEGI MR7's

i got 17" white motegi mr7's that go nicely on my un-dropped maxima.
i'm actually considering selling them. they're wrapped with Toyo Proxes ((FZ4's ?? cant remember off hand)) less than 3000 miles on em. rims are in great shape. selling em for $800. i got pictures of em on the car but idk how to put them up on this. ((new to the forum thing))

e-mail me for the pictures.

BTW the pic in my sig is before my drop... 19" Axis Se7ens...

especially with the notorious Body Roll. haven't done any performance mods and only put in some clear corners on mine. But with my tax return suspension and lowering springs are the first thing I'm getting.

looks pretty damn nice man, i think you and me are the only ones who like our rims with no drop, but i still might get a drop in the future.

Count me in, on the only one who thinks that they still look good without the drop.

i hope that helps- and as for the suggestion of a drop and a lip kit, it's not going to happen. i figure the car is great and i wish i still had some of the money i already spent, for other things, so i see no reason to dip myself a bigger hole and "pimp out" a car that has no "pimp out" value in my area. there is no buyer for a maxima that is 2gs above high book due to mods. its money i will never see again and could otherwise enjoy. plus i like my max the way it is. sorry for the rant, but it seems like everyone is buggin me about it

frodo- you hailin kearns. have we met? im ted

the reason most people probely like the "look" better is cause they cannot devote the 4 hours to doing it, or devote the money.

Honestly I like both looks, I just think some rims look good enough where if you don't drop it it's not so bad, but of course any car looks good dropped, thats a given, **** even a festiva would look good dropped with some rims LOL!
