I have a 5 speed 99SE-L I just turned 33,000 miles today and I was wondering if anybody has had any problems with there 99's. I plan on changing my coolant and fuel filter next weekend and checking the plugs anything else I should check?

 

Not really. Just follow the maintenance intervals in the owners manual and you are all set.

 

Have about 63k miles on my '99 ES 5spd. So far the only problem I had was an O2 sensor replacement. Otherwise, I've had no problem whatsoever.

besides all the rattles, i guess everything is "ok". the litle flap that covers the fuel filler hole disappeared (must have fallen into the gas tank), and the a/c blower is starting to make a squeaking noise.

I got a 99 auto and beside scratches and dents it works fine (knock on wood). A friend of mine got 98 5sp and he swam with the car twice under water and it still works fine.

 

Replace the air cleaner filter.
