noise from coilovers

after i installed kyb agx shocks/struts w/ ground control coilovers i noticed that everytime the car is parked and i turn the wheel it makes a noise....sounds like the whole spring is moving a way that it shouldnt be moving.....this noise goes away while im driving faster.....anyone know what could be causing this?? thanks

I'm thinking strut bearing. What does the noise sound like?

With the ground controls, its a pain in the a$$ to not break the strut bearings. Make sure they are seated properly BEFORE you lower the car. I have snapped 3 strut bearings throughout the coarse of owning my GC/AGX setup. They have a tendancy to either just not seat themselves properly (and make wierd noises) or just break.

What i like to do, is get some grease and put some on the top of the strut bearing, sandwitch it to the top of the strut mount so it sticks in its proper position. Then slowly drop the car so that everything sits the way its suposed to.

I do this pretty much every time i lift up my car, whenever i forget i seam to break em....arghhh....damn ground controls..

Not quite, the strut bearing is the plastic washers sandwiched together that allow the strut to turn. Like Kelly said they're probably worn or misaligned.
