Got a Q guys?

my rpms were goin out of wack today i was loosing power and my car was driving like trash which has never happened ever because i take of my car like a baby.So i brought it to firestone this morining and he said i was very low on oil which i wasent due for a change till another 1500 miles. He check for leaks i dident have any.Now he said i threw a code for a knock senor, now could that be because the oil was real low so it threw that code?I also have burnt o2 senor.Any help would be great this way i know what i should do?

firestone tells me 250 for a ks installed? that sounds like alot

DO THE O2 sensor first thats easy...u might be getting the knock sensor code beacuse of the o2 sensor.....as far as ur burning oil look for leaks or smoke when u start the car up in the morning.....and waht do u mean by out of whack RPMs....they bouncing around at Idle...or stubling at idle

$200 for an o2 sensor is waay too much.

Change the o2 sensor first, reset the ecu and see if the KS code comes back.

Pull plugs and see if there is any oil on them. Add more oil and monitor the level, and see how much the car consumes over a period of time.

you kinda need those sensor for emission reason, but mainly for good gas consumption.
