Electrical Problems, No Taillights, cruise.....
OK, I have been looking all over for info to try and help with my problem. I sure hope someone here can help me out.
I was driving home from work on the freeway with the cruise control set. All of the sudden the CC stopped working and a few seconds later the CRUISE light on the dash started to flash. Then I noticed I had no tail lights so I pulled over and found the the fuse under the hood was blown. I replaced it and drove on but still no CC. Also with the lights off if I hit the brake pedal the parking lights come on. If the turn the parking lights on the shift lock actuate and I can shift (auto trans) from park without depressing the brake pedal.
I have spent the day checking all the fuses, making sure all the harnesses look good and checking for bad grounds. Nothing so far.
Might someone on here please help.
Thanks in advance
Rick

Actually I just found it. The rear tail light in the trunk lid shorted out. The bulb with two + pionts shorted together and was feeding back throught the car. What a weird thing to happen but at least I found it. Thanks
