got ECU code P1440 and P1447

My check engine light came on again!! Went to maximum tuning and suggested it was the sensor that connects to the evap canister (drain cut valve). However the check engine light is still on. The book at autozone saidthe code meant purge valve stuck open. Before i go buy a purge valve, has this code occured toanyone else? Where is the purge valve located? pics? suggestions?

There is your problem.

I think its located on the Evap canister. Its on the rear of the car behind the drivers side rear tire.

Looking at this diagram in the FSM it looks like there are three purge control valves.

Looks like they are all in the engine compartment. I'm looking at the diagram on page EC-410.

But I suppose you have the FSM....

There is a Fuse under hood too you have to check that plus I think that there is a TSB on this issue where the dealer has to reprogram the ECU I'm not sure tho I'm still researching
