True, but I think it's better to go platnium b/c they came like that from the factory.

I've used Bosch Plat+4's in my cars for over ten years without any problems. I changed my first set after 100,000 miles of use. The electrodes were still in good shape, but were worn down (as is expected) to where the gap became too large.

My first Max came with a new set of NGK's. They are also good plugs, but I would say that my low-end acceleration improved, as well as the overall smoothness of the engine, with the switch to Bosch.

Same thing for my I30 -- the switch to Plat+4 was an improvement in both areas.

I put Plat+4's in my girlfriend's car and daughter's car, and they are also running better.

Apparently, some of the lesser Bosch model plugs have gotten a bad rap...but I never heard any bad things about the Plat+4's.

Bro, dont put Champions in anything except yer lawnmower!! NGK Platinums OWN Bosch +4s.. use NGK, thats what Nissan uses from the factory!! The nissan part # is 22401-1P115, which are NGK PFR5G11. Use those or use copper equivelents..

Ok champions are great if you swapped a briggs & Stratton 15hp into your max. enought said

Bosch plat +4's sound like a great idea, but bosch doesnt make the best plugs to begin with and the 4 electrodes allow them to last longer, but if you think about it (and yes it works this way) the 3 electrodes that aernt in use at any give spark, sheild the spark and can (and do) cause missfires because of this sheilding effect.

Just go NGK, the others may work, but why chance it NGK's and your done
