Coolant leak, possible water pump?

How do I know if my water pump is leaking. The coolant in on the passenger side behind the tire. I can find out if its the pump, a hose or radiator? I pretty sure its the pump but I just want to make sure.

How hard is it to replace?

it will prob. be leaking by the oil pan, the water pump is pretty hard to do and prob. gonna coast a few bucks. I think the oem water pump is $80-$85.

It's weird,

There is no coolant on any belts, or on the timing cover. I have no ideal were its coming from.

Well it can only be coming from certain places on the car. My pump is leaking a little and it drips down from the oil pan. It stays wet on the timing chain cover right behind the belt tensioner pulley. That is where the pump is located. Run the car till it's hot, then turn it off and check for the leak. As the pressure bleds off the water will begin to leak from the pump, hose or whatever. Check the lower rad. hose and the thermostat housing also since there on that side. There could be a pin hole in one of your heater hoses where they go into the firewall. Be sure to check those too.

Go to a shop, put your car on a rack, leave the engine running and lift the car up. Look from under the car and you should be able to see where its leaking from.

There is a weep hole on the front cover somewhere, but I don't know where. I haven't been able to see my leak either, but it leaves a little spot of coolant just inside the passenger side front tire.

If you check the radiator, thermostat, and hoses and it is leaking from the front of the engine, then it is the water pump. It should leak around the alternator/upper oil pan area.
