wheel hopping? bouncing?
I think my car has a problem... the wheels are "hoping" or "bouncing" when im driving around at about 25-35mph. (This happens on SLIGHTLY uneven roads because the roads aren't paved as flat or a little bump that is about 1/2 to 1 centimeter high.) If I go faster than that, I don't feel it or hear it. The sound is irritating me...
I did a search and the thread that came up was about wheel hoping and it had to do with the engine mounts. I brought it to the shop and they said the mounts are fine...
Can anyone figure out what else is causing this problem? Shocks? Springs? Control Arms?
Thanks.

I don't think your hearing your wheels hop or bounce, makes no sense.
Please describe the noise your hearing and the location it's coming from so we can direct you to items that may be causing the noise your hearing.
I suspect there is something loose or worn out in the suspension.
Check:
Strut mounts
Ball joints
Control arm bushings
Sway bar end links
Tie rod ends

I had the very same problem, slow speeds the whole vehicle falling apart once there is an uneven road (even slight). I replaced both my front struts and the problem is gone, the tranny even shifts better, the bucking/lunging is gone!!!
Trust me it is the struts -- 100%!!!!
