ok...so my car went into the shop to get my new ACT street clutch installed this morning at 8am....I get a call at 4pm saying that the disc was the WRONG PART! So the had pulled my tranny...installed the clutch...put my tranny back in...figured out that it didn't work..and then pulled my tranny again!!! So no my car is sitting on my mechanics lift with no new clutch to speak of, and I DON'T HAVE A CAR TO DRIVE. Boo to that. Anyway I ordered the RIGHT disc today, and it'll be here tomrrow morning and HOPEFULLY this will all get resolved and I'll only have to pay my mechanic for 10 hours of labor instead of 14 (14 hours cuz he has to do the clutch twice). I just thoght I'd share this becuase I don't want this to happen to anybody else. Paying 1200 dollars in labor for a new clutch SU*KS!!! Make sure you have all the right parts before you get it put in, and make sure your disc is only 240mm in diameter not 250mm like the Z TT's disc!!!

what are you paying your mechanic $120 an hour. If so I'm in the wrong business, and you're paying twice as much as you should.

1200 would be with flywheel resurfacing...and 14 hours of labor...not 10...ok I just did the math...maybe it's more like a grand for 14 hours of labor and flywheel resurfacing....either way....it really sucks.
