Parting out help

My famliy friend owns a body shop, and he has a totalled 4th gen to take care off. He is going to trash it tommorow and asked me if I wanted to take out anything.
I am taking out the rims since mine are hubcaps. What else can I take, is it possible to switch my cloth seats with the leather seats( is it hard), and can I take out the spoiler? comments plz

Take the whole car yourself. Save what you want for yourself, then sell the rest of the parts.

Seats are easy to do. Maybe 2 hours total to swap them. The spoiler will be easy to remove, but hard to install on your car if you dont have the holes already.

take out the leather seats and ship them to me

seriously, you should take out anything that can be removed easily; console, radio, temp control, headlights, taillights etc. People will buy them all in the for sale section.

You would be stupid if you didnt ask if you could just have the whole car. Where the damage at? Is the motor and trans still good? You could easily make 1g on the car parting it out.

I would ask for the car but I am a noob and not mechanically talented with no tools what so ever, I'll be happy if I could just have the leather seats and the spoiler

seats are esay as 12345. front are 4 bolts each, very easy. the back seats are easy too, the bottom part comes out first i think by some snaps that are under the seat, look and you will see. pull em and the seat will pop out, all in one motion. then you will see some bolts ( 2 i think) for the top part and there are a few where the fold down part is, pull it down and move the little cover thing and there is a few bolts there, you will get it. ( its been awhile)

if it has black door panels, get em and i will pay you whatever it takes. good luck. pull what you can if he doesnt care.

Yeah I gotta agree with everyone. Take as much as you can, the whole car if you can. Def, can sell parts yourself and swap what you want.

dont forget the door panels if your doing a leather swap, maybe take out the bose system if it has it.....spare tire/jack, headlights, if the car is the same color as yours and is about the same shade why not trade the entire trunk instead of making holes in yours if his is an se and yours is a gxe/gle i would also take the door handles/grill/fog lights........

Screw that, take the Starter, KS, MAF, IACV, IGNITION COIL PACKS!!! All this you could sell or just keep for when you have problems. Man there is EASILY $1000 in parts right there.

I would jizz*m my pants to get all those parts for free. Depending on the condition of course.
