Headlight problems.. please try and help.

got in my car tonight.. started down the road, and realized my lights weren't on.. put them on bright and they worked fine..

so they don't work, anyway changed the headlight bulbs, the right one still dosen't work on dim, but yet the driver side does..

i havn't had a chance to check the wiring, but could someone please let me know if you've had this problem, and what you did to fix it.

My girlfriend's 3rd gen had same issue (both high beems worked but only one low beem worked). In her case it was the headlight switch that was bad (the stalk on the steering column). I picked up a new one at the dealer for around $50.00 and replaced it and it's been fine ever since. It was cheap and easy to fix.

my sister's 99 max has the same issue, but it seems there is a bad wire on one side. I'm planning on fixing it but I haven't had time.

You got two choices right now:
1 headlight stalk
2 wiring

I had the same issue ( 1 headlight works ,both highbeam works)..
I had a problem with the OEm headlight stalk... a buddy of mine "re-wired it.. now it works no problem, but I just don't have DRL's ..

it doesn't sound like a fuse issue because the fuses are setup for right and left. So if say the fuse for your driverside headlight blows then both the low and hi beam will be out on that side.
