Replacing Exhaust w/stock: What do the Clamps do?
I'm replacing a custom exhaust I had done with an OE style exhaust. The shop took off the clamps so I don't know what they're supposed to do. Could someone describe it to me, and if it's not too much trouble would someone take a pic for me? Thanks!

Clamps? What clamps? Most systems for our cars bolt together. No clamps.

The thing that stick out of the muffler? They go into the exhaust hangers so the exhaust can be hung and be more sturdy and not just be attached by the exhaust piping

ok are you wanted a pic of the hangers the OEM uses to hang if so i will take pics in about a hour and put them on for you
