I always hear this rattle/squeaky noise that sounds like it's coming from under the dash, or just beyond the firewall. The only problem is that i can't hear it in the engine bay or outside the car, only in the cabin with the windows up. Usually its quieter when i first start up the car and drive, but then it gets louder when the car has been running for a while especially after a long highway drive. It's not a constant noise either. I can hear it when i engage and disengage the clutch. Very noticeable in the first 3 gears. I can also hear it when i drive over sharp bumps (like railroad tracks) with the clutch engaged, but not with it disengaged. Im guessing it is connected with the clutch somehow. But what throws me off is how i can't hear it outside the car at all, not even very faint. I need to find a solution to this, its one of the most annoying car noises ive had. Thanks for any help.
