Need Help Wiring Power Seats
My brother is trying to install power leather seats in his max. We pulled up the carpet and the isn't pre-wired for it. If I find another power source (cig lighter) and ground, which wires do I tap into to make the power seats work? I see three harness under the seat.

all maximas are prewired for power......if you looking to heat the seats up your gonna need that extra power source. If you dont have the wires for your power seats than your max has had a seat change and someone cut the wires

I looked under the carpet and there are no extra wire harnesses. There was only one wire harness which had 1 black and 1 yellow wire coming from it. Underneath the seats there are three wires. Likewise, I have 98 GXE and my max is not pre-wired also. So what can I do to power these seats?

lets see...you can get some 10 guage ish wire and some pin connectors and run it into the fuse box on the acessory bracket.
Do you have a stereo? if so you could run a wire from the battery to a distribution box. (A distrubution box safely splits your power leads for multiple guage wiring or additional wiring.)
you could then run your seats from the distribution box, and you also have a power supply handy for any other interior upgrades that need power.
that little clip you describing may or maynot carry power. Check to see if its live or not if it is you got your hot wire right there.
