Tan Interior w/Chrome dash pics......?

Hi all. I've seen 1 max, (bigsadlers) w/Tan Interior which has a chrome kit on it. But.... he also has the black on the seats and the door's which makes it blend very well.

I have another Max now, 98Black on Tan interior but the wood dash kit is coming off and it needs to be replaced.
I ALREADY HAVE a carbon dash kit in the Blue Max but im getting kinda old of it.

Anyone have chrome dash kit? I really wanna get a cheaper-ebay kit for like 100. b/c i dont need a 270$-platinum pimpin chrome one from EvolutionDesign.
Are the Ebay kits that bad....? even the Brushed aluminum kit is only 65$...
But i WANT the chrome kit... maybe ill buy it for tha ****z n grin...

Any Insight?

here we go, i have moved to better things......this dask kit looked like a robot lived in my car. It blinded me all the time, and messes up very easy.

I've got a tan interior and have wondered what it would look like with brushed aluminum. But after looking at that i don't think i wanna conver it, i'll stick with my wood trim.

There is a thread somewhere in the 4th gen about removing the trim pieces and painting them, then clear coating them. It would be cheaper, and give you more options about color. They do have aluminum paint, and chrome, so you could duplicate those looks.

the e-brke handle is a ractive which is universal. I had to dremal the inside out so it would fit on the handle.

i once thought about going with brushed aluminum or chrome for tan interior, but i'm glad i didnt. the stock matte black is fine with me but if i ever get a dash kit it will definitly be a nice wood one. wood adds alot of class and luxury to the interior and draws alot more looks and compliments rather than a metal. metals cheapen the car and in my opinion dont look great unless installed on an all black interior.

I have tan interior and I went with a carbon fiber dash kit. I think it looks great. I think the brushed aluminum only really looks good with a black interior. With a tan interior I think it blends in way too much and doesnt do any justice for the dash.

I agree completely. Mind posting some pics of your dash? I wouldn't mind seeing what caron fiber looks like with a tan interior.

i think the aluminum/chrome doesn't work on tan but does work with black. i think this is because of the contrast. any pics of a nice wood with tan?

Here is TheBigSadler's car for those that may want to see it. I think it actually looks pretty good and I will probably go this route after finally seeing pics of it. Only thing I would change is I would go with brushed aluminum instead of the chrome. TheBigSadler's interior:

Not a fan of chrome on tan. Not enough contrast. It'd probably look okay on black, but I'd still prefer a flat brushed aluminum look instead of something so shiny. I shouldn't have to windex my dashboard.

The kit off ebay are just stick on IIRC. You get what you pay for. The ones that are more expensive actually replace the parts I think.

edit: Now that I look at the sites both are stick on but I believe the more expensive ones don't stick out of the dash like the ebay ones. I heard the ebay ones stick out a little and these look stock. The ones I am talking about are from www.woodtrim.com

dammit, forget dash kits, all of you. a GOOD painting job on your dash will always look better, dash kits get old, quick.. they can ding/scratch, they (physically) stick out more than they should and they're a b!tch to get off

i have the brushed alumium from ebay.. and im sick of it. if i could do it over, id stay stock or paint it a subtle color.
