So my max has been throwing a code on and off for about a month. Dreaded speed sensor, code 0104.
Also Cruise is working from what I can tell and what I have used.
Here is my question upon reseach no one has noticed driveability issues. My question is since throwing this code the thing is running like garbage, very slow through the bottom and no mid or high end just plain slow. I had thrown a code for the knock sensor and EGR months upon months ago and have not seen them sense but it never ran bad like this until the speed sensor tripped the light????

Any ideas?

Just got done playing the "I just turned over 100,000 miles, replace every sensor under my hood on my 5.0" so I am not really up for this game again.

A bad speed sensor is not going to effect the drivability of your car at all. Clear your codes and drive around for a wile till they come back, see if any other codes pop up. You can also take a volt meter and test the resistance of your knock sensor to find out if its bad. But again, a bad speed sensor is not going to do anything for drivability...except get you free miles hehehe.

Hmm.
Kind of what I figured.
I have tried to check for other ghost codes nothing has come up, only the speed sensor. oh well I am repalcing on wednesday, we will see if any other codes come up again.
