The drop isnt the most aggresive out there, but its "sporty" looking. The ride is pretty comfortable. Im definately happy with the set up on my car.

hey that looks nice, anything is better than my 4x4 look. Price on ebay is not that bad either. I can always get other sprins later If I want to drop it evern more. Right now the priority is that it be wife-friendly ride-wise.

I put these on my max and the wife couldn't tell the difference and it used to be her car. I can tell the difference.. handles like it is on a rail.

Would you guys recommend getting the entire illumina setup (shocks and springs) or illuminas struts and h&r springs for a more comfortable ride?

Hey guys I need an on topic difference of opinion, there are a used set of Tokico springs and shocks for sale, they dont look too bad but a friend of mine (another Maxi owner) said I should'nt buy used, what do you guys suggest?

Off topic:I would appreciate any advice, I have a 96 Gle with 124k great condition, but rear end rattles and front end makes a embarrasing squealing noise, Im guessing they need replacing, whats the good word? Thanks in advance......

Which is why Im asking about those shocks and springs.

THe springs I wouldnt worry about, but the shocks how long were they used for, and for what? (ie. AutoX, Daily driver, etc.)
