FSTB which to get?

I recall someone telling me at a max meet last year I should get a FSTB. Now I was wondering which do you guys use, and know fit and look nice. I looked around here and there and some of the cheaps ones were under 50 bucks. The question lies in which ones do some of u guys have.
I'm not gonne ask if they do anything or not, I mainly want to get it for the look. But how hard is this to install.. i can't imagine it would be just bolt down 6 bolts?
Also if anyone has one for sale let me know... willing to buy once I know which ones are well fitted.

Thanks,

Matt

Here's the installation oh yeah, if you're not lowered you really won't feel a difference, I have one and I guess it just makes my engine bay look good.

As long as they do the job, anything will be better than nothing. Just don't torque the bolts down too tight or you will strip them with hard cornering

Just get the cheap ebay ones polished with black ends they are all over cheap, got mine for $15 plus 15 shipping fits perfect. They have rear ones cheap now too, $28 plus ship. Rear is more for looks because the trunk is solid with a floor.

Get a cheap ebay one, it will work the same as the higher priced ones. Mine is a ebay one and works just fine.

It will work but some people say the reason the others cost more such as stillen is due to the metal in which they are composed of. Some will argue the stillen one does a better job and it stronger then the ebay ones.

If you aint doing auto-x or anything and just using it as a daily driver any bar will do.

I have to argue about the stock suspension/ebay FSTB effectiveness. I noticed a huge improvement when I installed the FSTB with my stock suspension - the front end was a lot stiffer through corners.

I thought I noticed a difference when I first got mine, but now I know my car has body roll like a ****. Now I doubt my fstb has done anything besides losing a maybe a 2% body roll.

I didn't say it cut down on body rolll - but it did stiffen up the steering feel a bit, which any Maxima could use. My suspension was on it's way out too, maybe that had something to do with it. I don't have body roll anymore...

If you want a front strut tower bar that looks like a front strut tower bar then get any of them, if you want one that will not break, and look bad ***, check out the one at paradox-systems.com. I bought it, but haven't had a chance to put it on, so can't say how it fits yet, but it looks solid.

i had a non-adjustable FSTB similar to Cattmans, and i had to get rid of it after i bought my stillen camber plates. the studs on the stillen plates are longer than the factory ones and once in position on your vehicle the stud are angled toward ea other, or inboard. with the non-adjustable bar, i couldn't get it to slide over the plate studs. i'd get one side, but the other side was like an inch off. i now have the stillen bar which is adjustable. regardless of brand, make sure you get adjustable if you think you'll ever be investing in camber plates or coilovers that come with there own plates.
