Guys i was at all auto parts stores in my town and couldn't find anything but throtlle body cleaner in spray can. It says on the can that it removes carbon and e.t.c i thought it might be the same as sea foam.
When i was cleaning my throtlle body i mentioned that i have a lot of black stuff inside where i can't reach it with my hand.
On monday i'm gonna change PCV
So my question is can i use t.b cleaner or not if not how can i get rid of that black stuff. Actually i wouldn't mind removing the whole intake how hard is it(worth it??)

The manifold isn't that hard to remove. Take the IACV?? off the back of the manifold first, it makes reaching the egr and manifold support bolts alot easier. There are 4 bolts in the back and the 4 in front. There are also two coolant hoses on the back of the manifold, those are the hardest to get off alone, the first time I encountered them it took me forever to get them off.

Just my 2 cents....the only time I ever poured anything down the intake of a car while it was running was on my second car...and while it worked great for cleaning out the carbon, it also messed up the valve guide oil seals and the car started to burn a quart of oil every 1000 miles or so. Had to change the oil seals to fix the problem. So I'm always a little wary of pouring something down the intake while the motor is on. I would think any quality throttle body intake cleaner would work the same as Sea Foam. I don't know what the facination is with Sea Foam. BTW...saw the spray Sea Foam last night at Advance Auto if you are looking for who has it.

Yes you can use TB cleaner, I use brake cleaner. The idle might dip when you start spraying it so either have a friend in the car or keep your hand close to the throttle cables.

So finally i found cleaner especially for intake non harming oxi. sensors and cat. convertors so anyway i poured it in intake disconnected brake booster cable after 15 sec spraying it i shuted off the car and wait 10 minutes then i started it over and there was a lit. black smoke coming out from exaust. After i took it for a ride, mentioned very good response when pressing pedal.
Now i'm a little bit scared of story above (valve seals) is it really might happend or it's very rare situation
