5-spoke 350z rims on my 96(pic) feedback please

Hi guys. This is my first posting here. After 11 years with my Max this is my first mod & I just wanted a little feedback. Before you guys go crazy, I will be lowering the car and adding clear bumper lights within the next few weeks. I have yet to see a 4th gen in my area with these wheels. Personally I think it looks great & I cant wait until I drop it! I just wanted some feedback from you guys whether it be positive or negative so lets hear it!

Looks great, but its gonna look even better in a week or so when you drop it. I look forward to the new pics. What suspension setup are you going with?

On a side note, this should be in "Member's Rides" section.

I was looking for some Z wheels like that.

Very F**kin sexy. With a drop, you'd have a very sexy look.

Sorry, I'm just excited to be here. I love this site. I probably going to run some Tein coilovers.

Nice, I always wanted coilovers but really can't justify the cost right now. Godd luck with the car, looks like its headed in a very good direction.

Personally I think that stock suspension, it's not all that great. A better look than stock, but you've got more ground clearance than some of my buddy's trucks

When you get that drop, it'll be straight. Post some pics post-suspension, definitely.

I figure after 11 years & 160,000 trouble free miles....she deserves a lil facelift!

He was referring to the other member about how your car looked bad on stock suspension when he's car's not lowered...looks good by the way. Update us when you get that supsension.

I work at a wheel & tire shop & a customer of ours put 22's on a 350z. I got em w/ 200 miles on em. Believe it or not the 350z actually looks pretty cool & still performs very well. Sorry pics dont have center caps yet.

I know, but I needed new tires so I figured...why not. Next month or so I'll be running about an inch lower.

I still think that even a fully stock Max looks a lot better when dropped a bit.

No spacers here. Bolted em' right on! Handles way better. Didnt notice any loss in performance, and this car gets floored regularly. She's a champ

Ugly Z, those wheels make the car look terrible, but you got the wheels free?

I need to check out the Z forums, maybe someone else is selling off there Z wheels.

Sure you can . . .

Justification:

Look at the purchase of coilovers as you spending money on your hobby. Many people have hobbies that they spend money on. Some people go out drinking and clubbing, tons of money gets spent, but after a year or so of clubbing and many many drinks and thousands of $$ spent what do they have to show for it?

You would have a lowered maxima to show for it.

Go on. . . buy some coilovers!

Those wheels look heavy. But they look good. How much heavier are they over your stock wheels?

if its helps they are Rays's wheels Fully Forged. should be lighter than most 18's.

I wonder how much he got them for. On the Z forums, people are letting them go for less than $1k!!
